As usual, we attended FENAVIN on tuesday and wednesday, but this time it was a new kind of show, more focused on business: small booths where buyers and sellers could make business quickly. Many visitors from abroad, from other European countries, Asia and USA.
There were about 200 wineries from different DOPs, but less than at the great FENAVIN last year, especially from Castilla-La Mancha. Again the tasting room upstairs was the best. There you could taste almost all the wines of the participant wineries.
Como habitualmente, asistimos a FENAVIN el martes y miércoles, pero esta vez era un nuevo tipo de feria, más centrada en el negocio: pequeños stands donde los compradores y vendedores podían hacer negocio rápidamente. Muchos visitantes del extranjero, de otros países europeos, Asia y EEUU.
Había unas 200 bodegas de diversas DOPs, pero menos que en la gran FENAVIN del año pasado, sobre todo de Castilla-La Mancha. De nuevo la galería del vino de la planta superior ha sido lo mejor. Allí podías catar casi todos los vinos de las bodegas participantes.
I had the opportunity of knowing nearly 200 wines that I will be able to offer to my customers at my tastings as well as finding out the new market trends. The second day open discussions were very interesting, especially the discussion about worlwide market for Spanish wines.
He tenido la oportunidad de conocer casi 200 vinos que podré ofrecer a mis clientes en mis catas además de apreciar las nuevas tendencias del mercado. Las charlas-coloquio del segundo día fueron muy interesantes, especialmente la charla sobre el mercado mundial para los vinos españoles.
The second floor wine room displayed bottles for tasting from all participant wineries sorted out by its kind: red, white, rossé, sparkling, ecological. It opened only in the morning so in the afternoon you could address the specific winery booth in the main room to make business.
En la galería del vino en la segunda planta se presentaban las botellas para la cata de todas las bodegas participantes ordenadas por tipos: tintos, blancos, rosados, espumosos y ecológicos. Abría solo por la mañana, de esta forma por la tarde podías dirigirte al stand específico de la bodega en la planta principal para la parte comercial.
The show had the support of the regional administration so there was a complete media coverage. I had the opportunity to change impressions with a journalist who belonged to the provincial council press staff. The interview appeared in the regional newspapers and in the Fenavin contact web.
La feria contaba con el apoyo de la administración autonómica por lo que recibió una cobertura completa por parte de los medios. Tuve la oportunidad de intercambiar impresiones con un periodista que pertenecía al equipo de prensa de la Diputación. La entrevista apareció en la prensa local y en la propia página web de Fenavin Contact.
