The last day at Granada Gourmet was the Irving wines tasting (Fernández Herrero Winery). María was invited to direct the tasting together with Carlos Caballero, head of Pilsa Educa and coordinator of the workshops and contests at the show.
El último día en el Granada Gourmet fue la cata de vinos Irving (Bodega Fernández Herrero). María fue invitada a dirigir la cata junto con Carlos Caballero, responsable de Pilsa Educa y coordinador de los talleres y certámenes del salón.
Before an attentive public that filled the room, María and Carlos, former Top Chef contestant, introduced the syrah and the Crianza red 2014. She provided precious details about the soil, the whether, the vineyard, all the elements that give these wines their special and unique character.

The attendants could really appreciate the wines and they loved them.
We would thank Rafael Fernández, the wine-producer, and Luismi, the person in charge, for their confidence and support. We would also express thanks to Carlos Caballero for his help and background.
María had the opportunity to talk with Luismi about the future of the winery. Hard times but we are sure they will go on working hand in hand in order to go ahead with the winery, the hope of both of them.
