Fontedei winery at the Ideal wine show: a touch of excellence / Bodega Fontedei en el Salón del Vino Ideal: un toque de excelencia

Hosted by the master Antonio López de la Casa, enologist especialized in wines from Granada, this tasting, that took place today in the morning, offered us its white wine and two of its red ones. The white one, Albayda, has been awarded recently with the Palacios gold medal at a Palacios blind tasting in the FVAM (Torremolinos, Málaga) with the presence of several well known sommeliers and chefs who hold one Michelin star.

Presentada por el maestro Antonio López de la Casa, enólogo especializado en vinos de Granada, esta cata, que ha tenido lugar hoy por la mañana, nos ha ofrecido su vino blanco y sus dos tintos. El blanco, Albayda, ha recibido recientemente la medalla de oro de los premios Palacios en una cata ciega en la FVAM (Torremolinos, Málaga) con la presencia de varios reputados sumilleres y chefs con una estrella Michelín.

The reds: Prado Negro 2012, the new vintage, that replaces Prado Negro 2011, undoubtedly one of Granada's best wines for ever. And Garnata, the more aged one, more intense, seasoned and spicy.

Los tintos: Prado Negro 2012, la nueva añada, que sustituye al Prado Negro del 2011, sin duda uno de los mejores vinos de Granada de todos los tiempos. Y Garnata, el más envejecido, más intenso, maduro y especiado.

Deep yellow colour for the white Albaida, not very trendy, but firmly defended by the enologist.

Intenso color amarillo del blanco Albaida, no muy de moda, pero firmemente defendido por el enólogo.
